How to get bi-partisan support
What I stated recently to a small group of wing nuts:

Dear Republicans,

The only way to get republican leaders to vote for Obama's favored legislation is to brow beat them on the bully pulpit.

We don't need your approval at all. You don't count in the process. Appeasing the likes of your kind has no reward and can only bring down the Prez. The American people of intellect realize your leaders have fucked them. Especially the previous eight years.

The way we will see "bi-partisanship" is after Obama and the Dems grow a spine and break your chops. You should fear this because it is easily within their reach to do this. Their poll numbers can only go UP in response. In fact I think that you do fear this. Let me be the first to state that I enjoy your pain.

When Obama and the Dems speak with one voice you will start seeing your GOP leadership wait in line for the crumbs. BEGGING the President for each one of them.

Mark my word.

Again let me reiterate: I sense your fear and enjoy every second of it!
