Anybody else getting an ADOBE Flashplayer 10 error message at DKos?
This thing just popped up when I was over there. Displays error message 2044 and switches to a different one when I try to exit the pop-up. I had to control-alt-delete to end the application - was draining 49% of CPU. Dkos seems to be the onloy site where it pops up.

Anybody seen this critter?

Are you getting the same error message and is it trying to load an Adobe update? Weird that it just locks up that one site.

were you at Dkos circa the time this popped up for you?

7. my Adobe updater just keeps freezing.
not sure how they can deliver a patch for that. I guess I just have to keep checking their site.

Just tried dKos & it seems to be working for me.

3. I'm playing a video at their site right now. I'm using Safari and my plugin
is up to date.

4. Not over here
Using Vista with Firefox 3.6, no flash error over there. My flash version is 10.0.22.87, which isn't the latest one.

Did you update flash recently or has it been awhile? What browser are you using? I would re-install flash and see if that makes a difference. If it's still an issue, you can always use Flashblock for Firefox, which would serve as a temporary fix.

6. Have you ever heard of a flash problem that's particular to one site?
Could it be that they're running an application that needs a later version, and I don't have it?

I'll try reloading flash and see if that does it.

8. The only issue I've had with it
is when I've opened up too many tabs that all have flash content in them. It grinds my CPU to a halt and then I have to restart Firefox.

I did some searching and this is all I could find.

10. I block all Flash. Flash is an annoying, buggy mess.
