In Maryland, we now have "Silver Alert". The obvious face of it is a message on signs on the highways. Today's message was a license number, a description of a pickup truck, and a request to call 911 if it was spotted.

The back story was that this was a 62 year old man with severe dementia. The truck is his, but he is not supposed to be driving it. He likely doesn't know that and he likely has no idea where he is.

As of tonight, he is still missing.

Damn, I can relate.

My dad just finished going through a year of hell and dementia, long hospital stays, two brain surgeries, seizures.

Quite a ride, poor guy.

He's better now, Aricept max dosage.

This is very sad and I hope they can find him and get him better.

I remember when Dad walked out of the nursing home and we torn the city apart trying to find him. He was found at a car dealership trying to buy a car to drive to N.Y. Has never driven a minute in his life. Thank God for i.d. bracelets.
