Gov Quinn in IL is stuck with a crazy running mate

Lt governors don't do much in IL. (Unless blago is the governor then the Lt gov becomes the governor.) That's how we got Gov. Quinn. I think he's pretty good. But, there's not much he can do with the state blago left him. He needs to raise taxes and the legislature won't let him. So we got lots of problems.


Anyway, in IL the Lt gov position is voted on separately than the governor so they can hate each other and not want to run together.

The guy who won on the Tues primary here in IL name is a millionarre named scott lee cohen and he basically won with an add saying he had lots of job fairs and we need more job fairs to save the economy. ... Are my fellow Illinoisans that stupid? I guess so.

Well now it has been found out that he was arrested for pulling a knife on his prostitute ex girlfriend. Quinn is requesting this guy step down. But, he won't.


Poor Quinn he is stuck with another mess.

those were the opening words out of the guy's mouth in an abc7 story on the guy on yesterday's news.

and THAT one was about his ex-wife...not the incident with the knife with the prostitute ex-girlfriend.

illinois will have a repug governor again after november. :shrug:
