Heck, even for an Obama rally - it would be touted by the corporate media as nothing less than an epic failure.

Yet here they are trying to sell us on the notion that the teabaggers are a serious force to be reckoned with . . .

12. Probably the most blatant example ever
of the media trying to create a movement.

Seriously, this is worse than what they did to Kerry with the swift boaters.

Sooner or later, people ARE going to get sick of hearing about her. Its not as if she brings much to the table.

4. Exactly, and...
the media are doing their damndest to make them look like they are a movement that is larger than they are. The media is also trying to lead them with their talking points trying to tell them not to say anything that will be portrayed as racist.

They also want us to think that these are a lot of Dems who all of a sudden became angry with Obama during the first two months of his admin when nothing had been implemented yet these people were complaining in November and December of 2008.

I watched as the economy was suppose to start tanking in Aug 2008 when a lot of people knew that there were jobs being lost in 2003,2004,2005,etc...Some didn't give a damn because it wasn't affecting them or their families republicons were losing jobs while Bush was in office but didn't say a damn word.

He kept asking for supplementals for the war and spent money and kept it off the books and the CONS said nothing. Now, some of these so called Dems are suppose to be soooo upset because of spending when many of us know there are other reasons which I will not mention because they know what the issues are with their hypocritical asses...

5. Our MSM is just so fucked up
I know, watch my language, but I have had enough of those folks. I'll just watch roundball tonight and ya'll can keep me updated on the stupidity of our media. I would probably start breaking things in my house if I were to turn to any of the cable news stations.

6. 600 people isn't even a good Star Trek convention,
is it? That would be just the Klingon speaking contingency... maybe there IS some correlation?

8. That's exactly what I thought
There are more enthusiastic Trekkies than there are Teabaggers.

7. The National Conference for Media Reform was held in Tenn. 3 years ago - 3,000 attended

But you never heard a word about it.

YearlyKos usually attracts far more than CPAC, but which get covered as an event?

9. Listening to the ridiculous report.....
.... on NPR about this non-event reaffirmed my decision to stop sending them money.

This bullshit is "news"?

11. NPR was severely co-opted
rather early on in the Bush administration.

I wouldn't send them a dime!

14. This is exactly why the MSM is so dangerous.
Arch-Neocon Bill Kristol one said that "we will create reality and you historians will write about it". Well, this is how they "create reality".
