Should smoking bans be lifted during the Super Bowl?

Ordinarily I don't mind stepping outside for a smoke.

I realize that a few uptight freaks have a problem with the sweet smell of smoke and I try to be a live and let live kinda guy.

But it's the Super Bowl for Chrissakes.

Step outside during the ads and you might miss the best part. Or you could miss a kickoff / punt return, which can be Game Changing Plays.

And don't give me that crap about: It's for the safety of the employees.

I'm not talking about restaurants and bars.

I'm talking about my house.

I gave myself a hernia getting a big ass TV in the house and I'd like to enjoy the game the way God intended: In a cloud of smoke.

Just because I smoke enough to kill the circuits on 2 Xboxes is no reason I should miss the big game.

Right?

It seems to me that you have missed the obvious solution here.

Simply re-wire your house so that you can have TWO "big ass" TV's -- one inside, and one outside. (You really should have a third "big ass TV" -- for your bathroom, so that when "nature calls", you can still follow the game and the commercials).

By simply doing a little re-wiring, you would be able to enjoy the game in whatever enviroment you choose.

(Besides, it would be good for the economy).

although I always go outside in my house if someone objects. Its a small apartment and I know people sometimes don't like smoke. Hell, sometimes I can't stand the smell of my boyfriend (who smokes considerably more than me) and I try to be a good host. In a bar though, I think its something people who work there and patronize should deal with, if its legal.
