Just like Vietnam.
Open a road to have it bombed closed again. Just keep going up and down the road.

You have to read this. It doesn't look so good for success.

The only spin I see the WP is the heading "Obama's War"

3. Same class of people: Wall Street's making a killing.
And good Americans and innocent Iraqis, Afghanis, Pakistanis, Somalians, Congolese, etc. etc. etc. are dying. I am haunted by the pictures of the young American service members who died overseas last week on McNeil-Lehrer News Hour. My heart goes out to their devastated families. It also goes out for us, each photo reflects an infinite universe of possibilities lost.

War is Big Business. The Dulles brothers, Averell Harriman, Prescott Bush and the Wall Street mafia working for Big Money worked the war game, helping produce World War II through Korea and on through Vietnam.

Names, Events and Links for starters:

Know your BFEE: Hitler’s Bankers Shaped Vietnam War.

It wasn't Ronald "Can't Remember" Reagan. Bush's son and grandson, George Herbert Walker "Poppy" Bush and George Walker "Junior" Bush pretty much gave us everything from Vietnam to the present day.

5. It always bears repeating -- War is a Racket
WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.
