Diane Rehm just scolded Grover Norquist
her show is about the teabaggers' convention.

Norquist was glorifying Reagan as usual and called liberals "snotty."

Diane wouldn't have it any of that and scolded him like a little boy.

Ha!

1. It's rare that Diane scolds someone on the right.
Although she states she's neutral, she always seems to be tilted more to the right than the left. Her guest list is often proof of that. (Light on progressives.)

6. You think Diane Rehm skews rightward? Are we even talking about the same person?
One study -- put out by conservatives and skewed in the direction they wanted, admittedly -- found that she had 22 liberal guests on for every five conservatives. Even though that study inflated the numbers, I don't think there's any way you can argue Rehm has a rightward slant. If she's right, who's left?

8. I guess it depends on how you interpret the leaning of the guests.
I don't consider someone from the Heritage Foundation, for instance, to be centrist.

I can't give specific examples off the top of my head, but when I car pool to work in the mornings, we often listen to Rehm's show, and frequently someone in the car has commented that she's not really representing the progressive side very well.

I definitely remember thinking she was favoring the right.
