Snowpocalypse time-lapse

From the Youtube poster: Time lapse video of the February 5-6 snowfall in DC. Nikon D200 set to make an exposure every 5 minutes. 328 frames at 12 fps.

4. I sent it to my sis and cousin in DC

and my cousin just wrote back "That's actually kind of terrifying." LOL... poor thing... they aren't even dug out from the first round, and now more on the way!

7. I'm in DC suburb, won't get out for DAYS, more falling 6+ hours here!
and I'm OK! Iowa family says 'Totally cool. What fun! I love that tree in the right back corner.'

9. Thanks! Since I'm not going out (CAN'T) I don't need cocoa,
just coffee! Fortunately this place appears to be largely well insulated (just been here since summer). Have boots etc, but because there's no need for me to go out, and can't use path to street due to ice, all that stuff is unnecessary at the moment! I do hope I don't run out of food before this is over, but don't think that will happen!

sent it to my cousin who lives just outside DC, she was supposed to fly back on Monday from Florida. Fortunately for her she is stuck there for a more days.
