"Marriage Vote Fails in Iowa House".
"Traditionalists vowed to 'Remember in November' after Republicans tried and failed to force debate on a constitutional amendment defining marriage as only between one man and one woman."

We have numerous problems here in Iowa, such as our state going broke and laying off essential employees. And the repubs are worried about gay marriage. Yep, I'll remember in November all right. I'll remember who doesn't care about the working stiffs of this state who are merely trying to make ends meet. I'll remember who has the hatefulness of a group of people in their hearts.

6. Filthy Repukes still trying to peddle hate, in a desperate effort to drive
their base to the polls. They have no idea how much relevance they continue to lose as every year goes by!

7. They want to set a precedent
Then they can require everyone to attend church every Sunday. And especially tithe.
They also want to regulate when and who can have sex.
They want to prepare girls to marry straight out of high school.
They want to force prayer in schools, home and work. And require Prayer Sheriffs to monitor the activities.
Put all radio stations in control of the churches.
Require all vehicles to carry the fish logo.

I wonder what would happen if they tried this? Or even if it got out that this was their intent even though it may not be at least in the near future? Would there be a major backlash against the ones it was tied to?
