But keep the old:

One is silver and the other gold.

8. Please lets make this go viral nationwide
But only to embarrass Rick Perry and his base. Not Texas. Not all of us in Texas are this stupid.

DailyKos and Houston Press links:
Spotted at a Sarah Palin Rally Daily Kos Diary 2/9/10
Bryan Fotographer at Houston Press brings us the above awesomeness from Sarah Palin's rally for Rick Perry in Houston, along with the following caption:

'The "Get a brain, morans" sign guy must have been busy on Sunday.'

The Houston Press article picture sideshow link
Houston Press 2/8/10 Includes the picture in the OP.

Great captions on the pictures. The readers are allowed to write their own captions on the pictures. Hence the classic "Get a brain, morans" caption.

Priceless!

6. Wait! How do we know the person really meant to write, "Scholar?"
...making it "Home Scholar?"

Wouldn't it be less grievous if this was the real intent? I mean, haven't we all confused the suffix "-er" with "-or" and vice-versa?

For example:

-er

suffix

Definition:

1. somebody or something that performs or undergoes a particular action
adjuster
fryer

2. somebody connected with, often as an occupation
trucker

3. somebody or something that has a particular characteristic, quality, or form
fore-and-after

4. somebody from a particular place
New Yorker
foreigner

and...

-or

suffix

Definition:

somebody or something that does or performs
sailor

Maybe it not a case of misspelling a word by omitting a letter, but by simply using the wrong suffix?

11. No.
It's laughably stupid either way.

(and I have nothing against home schooling in principle, but these fundies are still morans)

12. So misspelling 'scholar' is somehow better than misspelling 'schooler'? nt
