"Hope that snow in D.C. brings an end to those global warming folks' ideas!"
I heard this on the 9 o'clock news from the WEATHERMAN, who is supposed to be a scientist, on our local East Shitholia FOX station (FOX 51- KFXK Tyler Longview).

I am appalled.

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

That's how backwards East Texas is, folks.

3. Just in case you didn't know
East Texas was not too terribly long ago a big Democratic stronghold. There are newspapers here named after the party.

4. Yes, and Charlie Wilson died today. Not exactly a liberal but a Democrat.
I grew up in Houston and my parents were part of the founding of the Harris County Democrats, so I am well aware that Texas used to be Democratic. Except there were liberals and Dixiecrats, who were pro-segregation. Now they are Republicans.

6. People always say that
"Well, this snow or cold proves the global warming folks are wrong!"

I want to scream "Its fucking winter time you idiot! What do you expect, 90 degree summer like conditions?"

My county went for McCain two to one. :grr:

10. Global warming is alive and well here in the Northwest.
We just had the warmest January on record in the Seattle area (the records date back more than 100 years).
