A marijuana bust along the U.S.-Mexico border revealed 30 pounds of the drug stuffed into framed pictures of Jesus Christ, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency said Wednesday.

"What some might find offensive or sacrilegious has unfortunately become a standard operating procedure for drug smugglers. This would include using religious symbols, children and senior citizens in their attempts to defeat the CBP inspection process."

Authorities said a 22-year-old woman in a Jeep from Juarez, Mexico, told federal border patrol officers that she had nothing to declare besides the framed art. The officers checked out the vehicle with Cesar, a federal drug-sniffing dog, who alerted them to three framed pictures of Jesus in the vehicle.

The officers pulled the backing of the pictures and found numerous bundles, authorities said. The woman was arrested.

I love the stupidity. There is no picture of Jesus Christ, but there are artist's imaginings, which have nothing to do with what jesus actually looked like, but may have had something to do with pot.

On the one hand, the War on Drugs is a bloody pathetic joke; I hate to see any marijuana shipment busted by The Man.

However, Mexican Brick Weed is complete and total garbage that does nothing but give a four-hour headache. Look at those ugly little compressed pucks of evil: it is a travesty and an insult to the verdant beauty of Cannabis Indica & Sativa.

The young woman should be released immediately: it won't happen, of course; she will go to jail for a long time while the true criminals run free. The true smugglers should be punished terribly but only because of the ridiculously inferior quality of that shitweed they were trying to pass off as consumable. For shame.

I'll take some Mexican brick weed! Now that I can smoke it without job worries, I can't find any.
