To all those who spent Valentine's Day mourning a lost love:
Whether recent, long gone, or in between, a woman that I never met used to close out a gathering I now attend
every New Year's Day with a wonderful phrase. Her name was Estelle Ramey. Her words ring so VERY true:

"I have loved. I have been loved. The rest is background music."

2. I Loved, and I was Loved
I loved, and I was loved
the sun stroked my face.
Life, you owe me nothing
Life, we are at peace
