Shaun White wants to go to the White House

Now I adore him even more. Just watched his interview with Costas and at the end he expressed the desire to go to the White House. Didn't say why, maybe just is the next ultimate thing to do, or maybe he is an Obama fan. I think since Biden's grandkids are fans he shouldn't have a problem getting an invite.

Maybe he'll teach Obama how to skateboard, I could just see that.

12. Me too. My husband had long hair when we were married

in 1975 and try as I might, he won't grow it long again :-(. Of course now he is balding.

He is sooo cool, so nice and full of life, i even like his hair, reminds me of my

He acts like he doesn't like it for some reason, maybe got teased by the jealous, but I think he's secretly proud or he wouldn't wear it so gloriously.

I heard Costas say his nickname "flying tomato" has been replaced, to be found out in a later interview on tape delay for sometime today I guess. Funny how that alone is enough of a teaser for people, he is such a star, and used to be so shy, too.

11. Growing up, I was teased a lot about my hair

"I'd rather be dead, than red." etc. I love his spirit and his smile and the fact that he lets his red hair flow. He was probably teased about his hair when he was a kid, too. I don't think anyone likes to be singled out for their physical features - "flying tomato" or "carrot top". But I agree about the jealousy factor. I finally came to believe that people were jealous of redheads because their hair color was so ordinary. What finally made me less self-conscious was when a fellow redheaded student came up to me my Freshman year in college and said, "We're one in 50 you know." No, at that time I didn't :-).
