What if someone gave a tea party and everyone came?

Just imagine if you can, a tea party in your home town, and all the progressives there came too?....lots of young people too.
Would they be outnumbered?...could they then get the media attention?
My guess would be yes in most places....but that takes organization.

I watched the CPAC convention and there was one lady that layed out the plan for the tea baggers....use twitter, flash mobs, and all the new things to organize and make the news....

Are We?

2. Well it helps when the media and police are behind your cause other

wise it ends up like the 68 Democratic convention police riot, where the police started a riot against protesters and Nixon yelled law and order was needed to stop these unamerican criminals. The way the media showed the whole police riot, even though some news casters clearly pointed out that the protesters did nothing wrong for police to react the way they did, most people believed that the protesters attacked the police. Then they saw the Dem's sticking up for protesters and it settled it in main stream minds Dem's = soft on crime.

4. Yep That is how it works.

There was some commission that investigated the 68 convention and found that it was a police riot.
But the media of the time did not shy away from reporting it....I remember watching the convention on TV, and they showed what was happening in the streets.

leftie events. Maybe we should swarm the teabagger rallies with our own signs and slogans. If more progressives show up than wingnuts, we could own it.
