CNN Headline News determined to paint the "rescue" of Jessica Lynch as heroic
no matter what she said at the hearing the other day, CNN Headline News is showing the newly released video of her rescue at least twice an hour and calling everyone involved a hero.

3. Even though I'm not one of those 'there are no coincidences' types...
This seems way too canned to be coincidental whatsoever. It's pretty sad. The woman herself has been very classy, even more so compared to CNN here and its source.

Petraeus' getting the limitation on domestic propaganda by the Pentagon is bearing fruits already.

Hey, CNN probably covered a minute or two of her testimony and realized it's just better to run the pre-packaged propaganda over and over.

It's easier on the sheeple's minds that way. Got to keep 'em shopping and distracted from reality.

Her doctors loaded her in an ambulance to return her to US forces, but were SHOT AT BY US FORCES (WHILE IN AN AMBULANCE) and turned back to the hospital.

And, I guess they won't mention how the US found out where she was being treated (BY HER DOCTORS TELLING US FORCES REPEATEDLY).

Our government is run by fucking scumbags. Lying, sociopathic, warmongering SCUMBAGS.

9. They are playing the rescue now on CNN giving it huge play but
not the part of testimony that was devastating to the administration,
only "I was rescued by American soldiers"
portion of her testimony.

17. I think it will get worse before it gets better with the media
because just like this administration they are in a defense mode
because of their "Washington Generals vs Harlem Globetrotter" relationship
with the Government.

They are complacently guilty of supporting the
corporate masters who call the shots for war and attacks on the middle class


It was disgusting, they assumed nobody watched her testimony.

On April 24, 2007, Ms. Lynch said before the congressional committee that “the bottom line is the American people are capable of determining their own ideas of heroes, and they don’t need to be told elaborate tales”.

And I agree that the Iraqis who risked *everything* to help her are heroes too.

fully COMPLICIT participation in the crimes of the Bush administration.

They NEGATE the woman's congressional testimony to perpetuate the HERO myth.

We've frequently seen them fail to report news and selectively hype news, but this is the most glaring example of them NEGATING the actual news in favor of their propoganda.

They must all be charged when the TRUTH and RECONCILLIATION hearings are held. Editors, publishers, writers, announcers - all of them.

22. Larry Flynt showed more class than anyone in this fiasco
Someone sold him nude photos of Jessica. He refused to publish them and turned them over to her. CNN is still trying to exploit her.
