I haven't heard anything either...might be they're waiting to get someone on the scene with some real information. Also they're probably putting out the talking head cattle call in case something big pops up.

5. There's a little "LIVE" bug at the top of the screen

except for when they show anything prerecorded, such as B-roll. So it's live.

That's how to tell.
