"Newsnight poll: Most think Afghan war 'unwinnable''
Sixty-four per cent of British people think the war in Afghanistan is unwinnable, a BBC poll suggests.
More than two-thirds (69%) also think the government has not done all it can to support British forces fighting in the country.
Only 27% agree that the government has given sufficient support to UK forces.

*Sounds like Madison Ave needs to start a PR campaign to catapult the propaganda over in Britain.

1. You can save just about anything as long as you are willing to
destroy it first... do the math.

11. Bush/Cheney war crimes are somehow different from
Obama/Biden war crimes. The Democratic Party and Obama faithful find some moral and legal contortion to distinguish between children blown up when Bush was giving orders and children blown up when Obama is giving orders.

Obama had a choice to make; he made the wrong one. He could have distanced himself from Bush/Cheney; he chose to join them. Now he's just another war criminal, ironically with a Nobel Peace Prize.

The Nobel Committee now knows what every father of a teenage boy knows: If you pay up front, the lawn never gets mowed.

13. My opinion hasn't changed... I've always been against the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan
and a change in the WH doesn't make a bit of difference.

6. Our PR machine is still telling us this is a "good war".
So we may be there a while until the stupid wears off.

12. Our president is telling us it's a "necessary" war. And, people are buying it.
Unfortunately, it may take until the country is completely broke supporting another lost war, until they realize that the real bogeyman that threatens us is the Pentagon.

10. Sounds like the British population wants to declare victory and GTFO by the end of the year.
Sounds like a great plan to me.
