Sen. Dodd non-committal re: public option letter to Reid
Just called Dodd's office to ask him to support Sen. Bennett's letter to Reid re: supporting the public option. Phone rang a long time. Then an aide answers with, "Please hold" and I sit on hold. Then finally I get an aide on the phone. She said could not say if Dodd would sign the letter but she would take the message to him that I would like him to sign. I said that in not signing, Dodd appears to be owned by the insurance companies and this is how people will remember him. He's been a good senator for the most part for many years but if he doesn't sign this letter and support the PO, THAT will be the legacy we remember. The upshot is "no commitment" from Sen. Dodd.

Sen. Dodd looks more and more like a Big Insurance whore doing the bidding of his corporate puppetmasters. Bend over some more and ask "which hole?" why don't you, Sen Dodd? :puke:

1. He needed to retire. He has lost touch with us in CT.
I live close near you, in Terryville. We have a great rep in Chris Murphy but with Lieberman and now Dodd acting like a fool we need some new Senators to represent us. I will call Dodd's office myself to add to the list of those who want him to sign the public option letter.

3. I think he will too, we have plenty of them in Hartford.
I think Blumenthal will at the very least be better then Dodd, if he gets elected. Just as long as we don't get Linda McMahon of all people.
