Local Dems giving repubs a taste of their own...

Will the real Republican please step forward?

MUNCIE -- Delaware County Republicans are investigating whether their primary election has been infiltrated by Democrat operatives.

The party is suspicious of four candidates who are unknown among most Republicans, have never voted in a primary election, have not announced their campaigns in a public setting and filed their campaigns in the last two days of the primary filing period.

Adding to the suspicion is the fact that the handwriting appears similar on government forms that all four candidates submitted to declare their candidacies. The handwriting on the form for a fifth candidate, who has since withdrawn, also appears similar.

And if Republicans can't distinguish their own candidates in their primary, I don't see how that's the Democrats' problem.
