Major Corp. makes a 100% Progressive stand on Greenhouse Gases

Oh before you reply, the snarky dismissal - that this only partially compensates for the gases produced by "producing their products" is bogus, because every company that makes something necessarily produces greenhouse gases as a byproduct, yet I know of NO major mega-corporation making any effort to compensate in any way. In fact most do the exact opposite.

Give credit where credit's due.

Continuing their tradition of leaning on suppliers to make themselves look good.

2. You don't get it, do you?
1. Walmart makes "green" overtures that don't cost it much or do much, but gets a lot of press.

2. People like you buy into it. Bits of the "green" buyer market decide it must be OK to buy Walmart crap again.

3. Walmart's size and corrupt business practices bring "green" products at lower prices.

4. Actual green products from green businesses cost more, and lose market share.

5. Actual green businesses are put OUT of business, just like Main Street businesses are gone-daddy-gone in areas Walmart moved into.

6. Walmart continues business as usual.

Fuck that, fuck them.
