This Sunday on MTP. an exclusive with John McCain. Exclusive! Yes McCain will likely spend the entire time acting the martyr and complaining about Obama, but who will be watching? And more than anything else, these days, McCain looks like a self pitying whiner. This show used to be a money maker and that's always the bottom line but it's been losing ratings steadily except for when Rachel is on. So why are they killing a cash cow?

As both are equally awful, the perverse in me hopes Hayworth knocks him out of the box. That would settle his hash once and for all.

For any show to continually use him as an important political figure is stupid. This is the man who selected Sarah Palin (who he didn't even know) as his running mate. This is the man who hugged GWBush on stage after BWB smeared him during the 2000 Republican primaries. This is the man who has reversed his stance on DADT to be politically expedient. This is the man who whined during the recent HC Summit about the 2008 Presidential elections. This man has NO credibility. He is not the leader of his party, in fact few in his party like him. He is a worn out, ineffective, irrelevant NOBODY. Oh did I mention he is a war hero because he was captured and tortured by the N Vietcong and held in prison for the durtion of the Vietnam war. Yes, he deserves our respect for that, but so do many other men of his age who were captured by and suffered at the hands of the vietcong.

Gregory is a tool. I haven't watch MTP since Russert died, except when I know Rachel Maddow will be on.
