They ignored me. Can you believe it?
There is a comments section on the web version of the right wing rag, The Bismarck Tribune.
The headline for the LTTE is "Stimulus was necessary" The letter writer was pretty much on target.
Anyway, knowing who most of the posters there blame for everything, I decided to have some fun.
They only see what they want to see.

Yeah, the economy was was the best it's ever been, even surpassing god Reagan's administration, right up till 12 Noon on January 20 ,2009 that is, when the economy abruptly collapsed within minutes of the swearing in ceremony.
We had full employment for everyone, no one was going bankrupt or dying because of a lack of affordable health care. The stock market was a stable and safe place to make easy money. Low taxes, a new car every other year. Ah, those were the days.
Now if only I could convince the nice people here to undo the restraints, so I could get out of this bed and do my part to bring back President Bush and his nice friends so this country can once again be the peaceful, debt free utopia it was right up until that awful, wild eyed, far left wing radical, liberal, foreigner with no birth certificate, snuck in to our White House and locked the door behind him, then totally destroyed our wonderful country by raising his right hand and swearing to uphold the Constitution.
That's what wrong with this country. That nice Mr. Bush didn't care about that old piece of paper and look at how great this country was when he was running things!
(For the reality challenged out there, this is sarcasm, not reality... Even though it may be a perfect fit with your reality.)"
