Has it been posted that Senator Bunning shot a reporter the middle finger

He was asked about his inhumane holding up of unemployment benefits for hundreds of people while he complained of having to miss a basketball game.

He shot him the finger when the cameras were not rolling.

Just imagine how he must feel inside being such an abysmal asshole, it can't have escaped him.

I'm so appalled that I simply wanted you to know - I just heard this on Countdown with Lawrence O'Donnell.

7. Oh, sorry. There's only one way to search DU if you're not

a contributor. I should have noticed. But, there's one of the duplicates right on the second page of the latest list.

If you just heard something, and haven't been on your PC most of the day or listening to the news, the odds are about 10,000:1 that someone who was following the news has already posted what you heard.

Lively discussion forum, DU is. Things pretty much show up here within minutes of the first report.

there who deserve that treatment, but in this case, it sounded to me as if the questions were fair and to the point.

Jim Bunning wants to go out by knocking over the furniture and kicking the dog and cussin' up the place, evidently. I think it's a poor call and very bad form.

He stood tall long ago in that Phillies uniform on a major league pitcher's mound. That guy -- whatever happened to him?
