6. Nope. Arkansas has a sore loser law
Only 4 states do not have either a sore loser law or simultaneous registration dates for the primary and general. The four states in which a candidate could pull a Lieberman are: CT, IA, NY, and VT.

10. Yep. Lieberman, unfortunately, ran in one of only 4 states where that could be done.
Blue Dogs anywhere but CT, VT, IA, or NY. Blue Dogs, elsewhere, beware!

8. She can't
Edited on Tue Mar-02-10 11:38 AM by WeDidIt
In Arkansas, third party access to the ballot requires signatures amounting to 3% of the total voters in the prior election and requires them to be filed in the odd numbered year prior to the election to gain access.

She cannot pull a Lieberman in Arkansas.

13. Yup, just like Joe
She's already let it be known she'll run as an independent if necessary.

If the progressive organizations want to "double down" on a bet, they'd get behind Halter big time. If he can beat "all comers" in the general election, the entire political spectrum would shift left. Nothing screams power like winning elections.
