Is it just me, or do Democrats have a tendency to cede power
The moment they attain it?

I remember a Democratic majority in 1992, serious bickering, and a Republican victory in 1994. By what mechanics are the Republicans seemingly able to rally their minions the moment they become the minority party?

Am I simply being inundated by anti-Democratic rhetoric due to the fact that I live in the Deep South?

4. At this point, most of the DC Dems are DINOs
It's not that they're afraid to fight; it's that they're deliberately helping the other side and hoping we won't notice.

Good cop; bad cop.

Fucked country.

6. There will be so much crying and gnashing of teeth when POTUS
is a one-termer. Weak, spineless and cowardly. This is what the Dem leadership has become and I'm sick of them. This Bunning situation should have and could have been nipped in the bud. Thoroughly disgusted.

13. Apparently, POTUS thought it was "too partisan" to even call Bunning out in his remarks today...

10. They exist as the perpetual anti-(R)
And recently, as the anti-Bush.

Rhetorically speaking, of course. In practice, they seem to drink from the same trough.

12. Basically, our employees are shitty, we just need to remind them of who there boss is.
We elect career politicians, they don't do shit, then we re-elect them just because they have a (D) next to their name.

Overall I would love to pull the handle and flush all of them out. If they worked for a company they would have all been fired long ago.

But no worries... We will just put them right back in the same seat next election. I blame us the voters for putting up with it.

14. The people in power lay down too easily. They don't want to offend anyone
and it comes across to me as wimpy. I am totally disappointed and disgusted.
