Um, excuse me, I'd like something to be pointed out
I know everyone here has said it until they're blue in the face, but why is this simple fact not repeated over and over again:

The Bush tax cuts were not fiscally responsible.

The Afghanistan and Iraq wars were not fiscally responsible

The Medicare Prescription Drug plan was not fiscally responsible.

And these things have done and will continue doing more to spin this nation into inescapable debt than anything else the Dems have proposed in the past year.

Yet, all the people who promoted these events and voted for them are now able to stand up and block real help for millions of Americans by claiming it's not fiscally responsible. Am I losing my mind? Why isn't this an issue for the left?

15. I always wonder
what, exactly, are they conserving? I firmly believe that it now boils solely down to business. Sickening, really sickening...

5. I saw a cartoon posted here...
where some literal Blue Dogs are lying asleep in front of the Treasury, as Bush robs it for wars, tax cuts for the rich, etc. - and then wake up to become snarling watchdogs to prevent Obama from getting near the Treasury to get money for healthcare. Can anyone identify the cartoon?

6. It is an issue only you used the right words to say it
According to Rachel Maddow she or someone on her staff read every single email that's sent to her. Would you please send this to her?

8. The answer from the right is to get over your "Bush Derangement Syndrome"
They are so incredibly hypocritical, it boggles the mind.

Bush: More foreign-owned new American debt than all U.S. Presidents in history combined.

Cheney: "Deficits don't matter." http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/04_52/b3914021_mz007.htm

9. Yes!
I've pointed this out to one of my conservative friends. They really just don't get the hypocrisy. That's why that guy Bunning really pissed me off. The disconnect is stunning.

11. The Bunning thing was blatant hypocrisy
The whole line of discussion was absurd, but Bunning really topped it. And nowhere, not once, did anyone say "Hey! Hypocrite! Sit Down!!"

And we should really be saying that all the time

10. I love it when people just plain say it
It is so refreshing. I have had such a hard time taking any of these Repukes seriously. They were the ones who got us into this mess. It's just gonna have to take Democrats to get us out of it!!!

We need to keep saying it so that the Repubs will be the ones answering questions!
