Netanyahu to Biden: We didn't seek to embarrass you over East Jerusalem construction
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sought to alleviate new tensions with the United States on Tuesday, after an announcement that Israel will build 1,600 new homes in an ultra-Orthodox East Jerusalem neighborhood drew strong condemnation from the White House, and visiting U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.

5. If Biden believes what? And it's interesting to see that people think this is
just between Biden and Netanyahu -- his statement condemning their announcement was released from the White House.

They weren't dissing Joe -- they were dissing the U.S. -- To paraphrase Madeline Albright, he DID land in a big white plane with The United States of America emblazoned on the side.

For all intents and purposes, he was the USA -- not just Joe Biden.

8. My point exactly. This announcement of settlements wasn't an accident and it wasn't a coincidence.
This was a blatant slap to the current administration. And if Biden were to believe that ridiculous statement by Netanyahu he'd be as gullible as the sucker I can sell the Brooklyn bridge to.

11. Man, I just heard Andrea Mitchell say the announcement was made when
Joe was en route to "Bibi Netanyahu's" home for dinner!

Biden is too savvy to believe that statement -- he's been around too long and seen all the shenanigans.

6. It's not Joe -- it's the U.S.A. -- he's the fucking VP there on behalf of POTUS.
I can't understand why people are thinking this was a personal thing. They did more than piss off Joe, they pissed off the administration.
