1. Gallup must be conducting their polls in Texas this week or something.

4. That graph pretty much follows my feelings
While I still basically approve, my disapproval has increased dramatically. The last straw was his capitulation on the terrorist trials..My approval of him fell like a rock after they announced they were going to do exactly the opposite of what Obama had been saying for several weeks..

the more I see him as a hypocrite. Tongue lashings in his speeches and lickings in his actions.

is not a liberal.

9. ohhhh lordy down down down she goes
he still has time to turn a few things around but that would require quite the 180

11. Or just doing what he speechifies about. . . he tries to give the
impression he's facing one way, but he deals out his ass. He needs to face front and deal from his public positions rather than behind his back. Okay, I guess that's a 180 for half of him anyway.

10. Clearly he needs either a major terrorist attack or to start a war..
Or maybe catch Osama bin Laden..

That's really the only things that brought Bushie's numbers up..

19. Very interesting collection of data there...
Fox news almost always overestimated the Bush A.R.
Gallup even more regularly overestimated the Bush A.R.
CBS/NYT seem very balanced.
AMResGp and Newsweek spend alot more time underestimating the BUSH A.R.

I would be very curious to see how these players stack up to Obama's Median A.R. trendline.

16. Hence, why daily tracking polls are about as useful as a shot in the head.
Edited on Thu Mar-11-10 03:25 PM by Jennicut
March 4th he was at 50%...now at 46% a few days later. Then it will be back up. Then back down. If people wanted to commit suicide by watching this poll, it would be pretty confusing. I watch it every day, and it bounces around from 53% to 47 (now 46%). Anywhere in that range is his approval, therefore the middle of that would be about 49 to 50%. Which is what most of the national polls show. Real Clear politics has it at 48.5%....which is where it was in December. Oh my god! It changed so much in 3 plus months!
