Tea Terror

In other parts of the world, there is a name for people who operate in loosely affiliated groups, hoard explosives, hate the government and think that God is on their side.

They are called terrorists. Or insurgents, if we want to be a little more politically correct about it. But I don’t want to mince words when it comes to the dangerous extremism that this movement represents.

So let’s all stop pretending that the Tea Party movement is somehow a legitimate political movement. Contrary to FOX News and the protestations of angry white Christians everywhere, the Tea Party movement has all the features of a domestic terror network.

For those who haven’t been paying attention, there has been a rash of anti-government violence and related arrests during past months. The recent Pentagon shooting and the terror attack on the Austin IRS building are two that the public has noticed, but there are several others. In New Jersey, an active Tea Partier was arrested with a stockpile of weapons and explosives. In Cincinnati, a very active “Oathkeeper” (Tea Party police or military) was jailed for child molestation as well as possession of a 40mm grenade launcher. There were similar arrests in Idaho and Missouri.

actually, they are saying, "darn! He didn't have the chance to kill any liberals or government workers before he was caught! We are going to have to step up the propaganda folks... OH, make sure this guy is a hero to the public... spin it!"

I was in my car for a long time yesterday and channel surfing. Madmen Levin and Savage were predicting blood in the streets - as though that's a good thing. Just a matter of time until someone prominent is killed. I hope Dem congressional leaders are watching their backs. Obama has the Secret Service.
