What Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin have in common
Edited on Sun Mar-14-10 02:24 PM by quinnox
They are both extremely attractive and sexy women. But in Hillary's case she also has incredible intelligence and she cares about people, while Palin doesn't give a damn about the common people and is a typical redneck dumb right wing backwards republican.

Hillary Clinton is the whole package, quite honestly she has it all. I can't think of anyone that compares to her that is living right now. Sarah Palin, while attractive, has a terrible philosophy on life and lacks in all the other departments.

Don't tell me Sarah Palin even has a chance to be president, that is an insult! Its insulting to womankind and also to Hillary Clinton, because she still may be our first female president. Yes indeed.

Hillary Clinton is among the most admired woman in the USA, in fact she has been shown in polls to be even more popular than our president, Barack Obama. Sarah Palin can only dream of attaining this kind of recognition and respect, instead she is a laughingstock of the country.

1. People who work with Hillary are glad of it. Palin, not so much.
Although I'm sure her people had fun raiding the Oscar freebies.

2. eh? extremely attractive and sexy?
are you talking about the same people you listed?

5. Don't be too sure of your view of Palin.
She is a lot smarter than Bush and he served for eight years. She is also a lot smarter than most Republican voters.

11. Do you really think she's a lot smarter than Bush?
He wasn't the smartest guy but I think he outshines Palin in the brains department.

14. I'll maybe give you the smarter than Bush part. Palin might be
intelligent so far as being cunning in some ways. Maybe her folksy speech is an act to attract gullible people the same way the Bush Texan act did.
She isn't knowledgeable in a lot of areas but may be in ways of using religion and right-wing issues to manipulate people.

6. Hillary Clinton is certainly attractive these days.
Edited on Sun Mar-14-10 02:29 PM by Lyric
Sarah Palin is not the least bit attractive. She looks like a rat terrier with a bun. However, attractiveness is not (and should not) be even a MINUTE part of what we consider when we're looking for a President. The fact that handsomeness and prettiness DO matter is an alarming indication that we have lost our gravitas and dignity.

9. Why is it that the first thing you mention is their looks?
The fact that this is treated as some primary measure of a woman's "worth" is gross.

19. You always seem to bring this up!
So why are you interested in politics then if I may ask? Most people here are political junkies. If you think to hell with all of them {politicians} then why even be interested in the subject.

20. Because politicians make the rules the rest of us have to live by..
That's the main reason I'm interested in politics.. Most politicians scare me, that's why I pay attention to what they're doing, for the same reason you'd pay attention to someone walking around your house with a cocked gun.

27. It beats working for a living.
And, I find the antics of politicians and other egomaniacs who promise to lead us to the promised land interesting in a sort of "how do they get away with that shit" way.

And they like Palin for mostly all the wrong reasons. Though I'm sure her being attractive is part of her appeal to that side. But they also like Palin's politics which are abhorrent to me.
