“Ugly Feminists Return to Their Kitchens”: Meet Your Newest CNN Contributor!



Twitter is all abuzz today over news that Erick Erickson, the right-wing, tea-partying Editor-in-chief of RedState.com, has been hired as a contributor to CNN, the “most trusted name in news.” Rather than name all the reasons this is bad — this is the man who joked, upon hearing about that Obama was a Nobel laureate: “I did not realize the Nobel Peace Prize had an affirmative action quota for it” – I’ll focus on one particular strain of his bigotry, allowing Erickson to speak for himself — through his own tweets.

What kills me is how many people think CNN (or MSNBC) are Liberal. Such sadly effective 'branding' by Rush Limbaugh and pals in order to get people to watch FOX and distrust the media.

9. "News" venues no longer hire journalists.. They read "tweets" & blogs
and show you tube videos.

They have figured out how to really save money..just use any ole shit their
viewers steer them to.

MSNBC embraced Politico, because that start-up claimed to be non-partisan. but once into the fold, they are showing their true colors..(We at DU saw it from DAY ONE)..

This is how propaganda works.. The extreme, is sanitized, made to appear "normal", and then expanded upon, so that any criticism of it down the line, becomes the new extreme position..for daring to question what has now become the norm..:(

It's how Beck got a toe-hold..and how Savage had a show on tv for a while..and how Limbaugh's empire grew..

but then CNN does like to flirt with the looney right. And have they always talked down to their audience like Fox? I was in a doctor's waiting room today, and they had a weirdly bald guy on widening his eyes and oohing and ahhing about the push to increase bandwith in people's homes with a very patient, bored expert. The CNN guy actually brought out a literal piece of pipe as a prop to talk about how we're "making a bigger pipe, like."

CNN is becoming a series of boobs.
