Could it have something to do with outstanding Credit Default Swaps, and INSURANCE on some of those shady deals?

/It just occurred to me, and I'm a little drunk.

//Am I crazy though, for connecting the two?

1. Subsidized insurance was proposed in 2004
By Kerry, Dean, Edwards and probably some of the other candidates running.

5. Nothing sudden about it and it's not @#% welfare. It was proposed by Teddy Roosevelt a century ago
... and Universal Health Care was proposed by Harry Truman before I was born. FDR had a go at it. So did LBJ and Nixon. Then of course there were the Clintons.

How is this "sudden"? And we're not even getting UHC.

We are the only industrialized nation on the PLANET that does not treat health care as a RIGHT. Ask yourself what is wrong with that picture? Do we have a "mean streak" as the Brits have suggested, or are we so used to our serfdom by now that we don't even notice how wrong our system is?

6. Teddy's 2nd Bill Of Rights isn't what's on the table here, unless I'm sadly mistaken
Feel free to correct me, with links please too
