Never before in my life have I really understood what the phrase "empty Suit" means, but watching McCain's opening statements on the Reconciliation Bill causes the phrase to take on meaning. What a waste of warmth the man is. We are mighty lucky they did not manage to steal three in a row, because that man who might have been President is little more than an incoherent idiot. He might actually be worse than the clown who ran with him.

4. I live in Arizona and McCain stinks
I feel sad to think we might have J.D. Hayworth or John McCain the choices are bad which makes me glad I am not a republican. We do have a good Democratic Progressive running but he will need support. Check him out at http://rodneyglassman.com and notice how he is running his campaign finances. PLEASE help Glassman if you can because who needs J.D. Hayworth, or John McCain? Certainly not the United States.

6. I'm also an Arizonan and watched how McCain treated his wife
Edited on Tue Mar-23-10 04:44 PM by Bobbieo
when they were on the campaign trail. There was not one shred of affection between them. What a difference in comparison with the Obamas.

I've always felt sorry for Cindy - the poor little rich girl stuck with that jerk!!! No wonder she turned to drugs!

7. Better you watching him than me. I cannot stomach more than
A nano second of that man.

However, that does not mean that I appreciate the "Bad cop, Good cop," paradigm that the Corporate controlled media has stuck us with.

The only nations that have decent policies for their citizens are those with more than two Corporate controlled parties.

8. Palin is less than nothing. McCain is a first class shit, an evil, small minded
Edited on Tue Mar-23-10 05:06 PM by old mark
arrogant, combative piece of trash. He was a horror in the service, a reckless irresponsible jerk who relied on his father and grandfather-both admirals-to keep him out of trouble. He used their rank to bully other naval officers of greater rank than himself. He frequently evaded his duties, in one case simply going on leave in the middle of a crisis.
He was involved in the greatest US shipboard fire since WWII (The USS Forrestal*, a carrier) and left the ship to go out for whores rather that assist in rescue efforts.
He is a viscious, foul little shit.

I don't think he would have been a good choice for President.
We would probably be at war with France by now, or England....

mark

*(McCain had a bad reputation among other pilots. He was known to allow jet fuel to accumulate in his plane's engine prior to start-up, causing a large flame mass from the rear of the engine, often into the plane behind his. The Forrestal fire started when a rocket on the plane behind McCains exploded, causing fuel and other ordinance to ignite. McCain got out of his plane and went to his cabin and did not assist in rescue efforts. He was transferred to another carrier within days. Over 130 were killed in this fire.)
