When did the "Republican Tea Party" suddenly change to...
the Tea Party that is not republican but 75% call themselves republicans and the rest call themselves Libertarians or Conservatives (same thing)?

Someone on CNN just said the the Democrats were going to try to "pin" them on the GOP. Didn't I just watch Dick Armey and Roger Ailes use FOXnews to create this movement during the past year and a half? Did I miss something? The republicans want these kooks to be their base but they don't want to acknowledge them?

1. I don't think they're fooling anyone anymore...
...they're just as "Independent" as Bill O'Reilly claims to be.

3. The change wasn't sudden
It's been moving in that direction continually over decades, although it accelerated during the reign of St. Ronnie and took off like a runaway Prius once WhistleAss got (s)elected.

5. My asshole dentist does the same thing. Whenever you say
something about republicans, he says, "but I'm not a republican."

He just votes republican every time but he's not a republican.

6. Or they call themselves Libertarians and say that they hated Bush.
It's code for "I hate Spanish speaking people".

7. These are the people who went out onto the Capitol balcony to egg them on
Buck McKeon (R-California)
Rob Bishop (R-Utah)
Mike Turner (R-Ohio)
Mary Fallin (R-Oklahoma)
Geoff Davis (R-Kentucky)
Bill Posey (R-Florida)
Pete Sessions (R-Texas)
Steve King (R-Iowa)
Greg Walden (R-Oregon)
Jeff Flake (R-Arizona)
Jean Schmidt (R-Ohio)
Dan Lungren (R-California)
Jeff Miller (R-Florida)

There were a few more, but these are the only ones I found identified.

I don't see anybody but Republicans there, do you?

They own the fascists. They own the brown shirts. They own the Tea Party.

9. Thanks for this list
Wasn't Bachmann in on that as well? I don't really know I'm just asking. At any rate, thanks again. I'm going to print it and show some teabagger types that I know. They claim they are an independent outfit. This proves that they are indeed owned lock, stock, and barrel by the right wing.

10. The corporate media haven't yet reported the names
only that they were "a group of Republicans."

This list came from http://www.islamtimes.org/vdcf1md0.w6d0ca7riw.html

Credit where credit is due. I recognized a couple of them when those brief images were shown of their disgraceful behavior, so I have no reason to doubt the accuracy of the rest of the list.
