Tea partiers told to 'drop by' Tom Perriello's home
A tea party organizer angry over Rep. Thomas Perriello’s (D-Va.) vote in favor of health care reform published what he thought was the freshman member’s home address on a blog, in case any readers “want to drop by” and provide a “personal touch” to their views.

Rather than giving out Perriello’s address however, the tea party activist mistakenly printed the home address of the congressman’s brother. Perriello’s brother and wife have four children under the age of 8.

2. I'm not sure how long this is going to be allowed to continue.
But it is just a matter of time before something awful happens.

Authorities are investigating a severed propane line at the home of a Virginia congressman's brother after tea party activists posted the man's address online.

Activists are upset about U.S. Rep. Tom Perriello's vote in favor of the health care reform.

Perriello's office said that a line to a propane tank on a gas grill was cut at Bo Periello's Charlottesville home on Tuesday. Tea party activists had posted the address online thinking it was the congressman's home, telling opponents to drop by and "express their thanks" for his vote.

9. MSM reported that his propane line was severed. Is there a Palin connection?
Edited on Wed Mar-24-10 03:55 PM by DeschutesRiver
I know Sarah Palin attempted to incite violence against "yes" voting democrats by telling her tea party followers to "reload", and provided a list of name of democrats to "target" in upcoming elections. By showing them on a map as "targets" by superimposing a rifle's crosshairs.

Did Sarah Palin's violence laden language incite this tea party organizer to provide a list of addresses to go along with Palin's list of "targets" (and caught up in his own stupidity, to accidently list an address that belonged to an innocent family member of the original Sarah Palin target)? And in turn, lead another follower to attempt to harm this family by cutting a propane line, hoping for an explosion? Because you don't cut a propane line for any other reason - if the attempt wasn't to harm or kill someone, the criminal tea party person could have just spray painted the appropriate vile favority TP message on the guy's house. This criminal was "aiming" to injure someone.

I noticed that when Steny Hoyer gave a presser this am about all the violent threats that congressional democrats were receiving, he specifically gave Palin's "target" threat as a prime example of such incitement that is likely leading to the increase in both the number of incidents and their severity, although he didn't mention her name. Just gave the example of what she did, right down to her use of rifly crosshairs to show her "targets". I wondered why, of all the things he could have mentioned that are out there in the blogosphere, he used Palin's latest vile behavior as his prime example. I don't think it was an accident, and I think Sarah Palin is cruising for a bruising on this.

I also can't imagine why the Discovery network thinks that I or any normal American would be willing to watch an Alaskan special hosted by Sarah Palin, a tea party celebrity favorite who is out inciting violence and is probably one step shy of being called up on charges if she takes it an inch further.

It probably won't make a bit of difference, however, if the Discovery channel supports this woman's wallet with a million per episode, while disregarding the escalating inciteful nature of her violent views on our politicians, I will no longer watch the Discovery channel.
