Dems Are On FIRE!
They are taking on the Repukes and their open support for the tea baggers. They are laying the violence at the feet of Congressional Rs, Palin and the rest. They are calling them out to condemn the hate and violence. And, they are kicking the Rs to the curb and moving forward on Obama's agenda.

You may hate HCR, but this win has gotten the MOJO back for the Ds.

Looking forward to the GAINS we're going to make in November!

9. Yes they are for sure...
I've had MSNBC on since Daily Rundown and every blessed show is covering it with hair on fire. And someone else here at DU posted to say that CNN is covering it today, too.

11. We have to be careful not to play into their hands...
..they tell their followers that the government is coming to get them, take their guns, silence them, blah, blah, blah..and then when their behavior provokes action, they say "see"!? "they're coming to get us!"

I've been feeling terribly powerless to do anything. Utilizing the phone no. you posted, I called my repub. congressman and left that very message: that Republican leadership who believe this is no way for a civilized society to behave should be at the very FRONT of the line, standing up to denounce these threats and acts of violence!

Thank you so much for giving me a channel for my fear and anger.

28. I really beleive it makes a difference..
when we call. I called Sander Levin's office and thanked him (through staffer, of course) for supporting HCR. They took my name and I offered to spell my street name, but first I asked if she was familiar with my street (Levin's district) she said she was and that actually she was familiar with ME saying that she recalls getting lots of email from me. it felt good to know my messages were getting through.

10. Ed's been on this all afternoon, radio and TV. And he'd better be.
This is the scariest thing I've seen in many, many years, and I was IN Mississippi in the '60s, albeit as a kid. If we let this go, I guarantee people will die, and we should hang our heads in shame. This isn't the American Dream; it's nightmare paranoia fueled by selfish manipulators who know full well what they're doing and should have any blood shed placed squarely at their feet and on their hands.

plenty of sense. The pukes are using this purely for political fuel and if we say nothing and not address it for what it is, they will win seats in abundance in Nov. If they can put a virtual UNKNOWN republican in a KENNEDY'S seat, one in Virginia and New Jersey, you better believe they are SERIOUS! Say what you will about the Rev. Sharpton, but he's the kind of activist we need and he hit the nail on the head!
