PETA May Help 'Octomom' Keep Home
More Local NewsLOS ANGELES (AP) ―

Things have appeared to be going to the dogs for octuplets' mom Nadya Suleman, who is in danger of losing her home.

Now it turns out that dogs -- and cats, too -- might be able to keep a roof over the heads of Suleman and her 14 children.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals heard of a planned foreclosure on Suleman's California house and has offered an undisclosed sum to put a sign in her front yard: "Don't Let Your Dog or Cat Become an Octomom. Always Spay or Neuter."

PETA's Amanda Fortino says Suleman's attorney is considering the offer. A message left with the attorney was not immediately returned.

This image provided by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals released Wednesday, March 24, 2010, shows a copy of a sign designed to placed in Nadya Suleman's yard for a fee to offset the cost of her mortgage. Suleman, the mother of octuplets and a total of 14 children, is in default on a $450,000 balloon payment due two weeks ago. A PETA spokesman says Suleman's attorney is considering the offer.

6. It's better than porn.
Still, I'm saddened at how many people and organizations are eager to jump at the chance to exploit this woman and her children.

8. So octomom is losing her house?
I guess her master plan, under which she (all dreamy-eyed, as she explained this) would be able to care for 14 children, just didn't work out.
