So is all that Patriot Act Eavesdropping Equipment being used to track down these Threats?
Or was that just used for the "Enemies of America" in the brain of Dick Cheney?

1. I am sure Echelon is getting a work up
mostly shit in, shit out... but you realize that it is just NOT the gear and technically they still need a warrant? I mean this traffic is happening INSIDE US borders.

FOIA comes to be in the case of ahem FOREIGNERS,

And the USPA in many cases when you transit that electronic communications across borders.

Well if I am sending you and EMAIL, well I am close to the border so conceivably could go through mexico, depends on routing. But deep inside the US to deep inside the US... no cigar.

10. I have wondered and hoped for the same thing - engage DHS, preempt violence
Since Obama did not repeal the Patriot Act, why not use it's power on these violent nut-jobs?

It seems like if Department of Homeland Security put it's full resources into these threats, they could swiftly halt the activities before anyone gets hurt. Isn't that the core mission of the DHS? To utilize intelligence gathering to foil terrorist plots before they happen?

12. Domestic Terrorists
These teabaggers and the Republicans who support them are truly enemies of this country. They try to intimidate the freely elected Democratic congress from doing its work. They threaten both Congress and the President with violence. Aren't they the very people whom DHS should be hunting down and prosecuting. I don't like the Patriot Act, and all the potential for abuse of our rights it encompasses, but there are tools there that need to be used to protect our government, whom we elected to clean up the mess left behind by eight years of Cheney and Bush, and six years of their congress.
