Anti- Jerry Brown Ads on DU, paid for by Republicans
Jerry Brown is the ONLY Dem candidate running for governor in CA, going up against the slimy, deep-pocketed Meg Whitman (former eBay executive). It is SO DISTURBING to see this ad every day on DU vilifying Jerry Brown. Like him or not, he is the only one who can stop Whitman, who has now set an unprecedented record in campaign $$$ spent on a gubentorial campaign, and who aims to privatize what's left of CA's wounded educational system (thanks to Arnold) and who is promising to cut taxes by doing away with critical social services.

I know this ad is courtesy of Google Ads, but DU admin has the ability to block ads they deem inappropriate, just as they did for the prop-Prop 8 ads. Can DU PLEASE do the same for this anti-Jerry Brown ad? It's been running now several days on DU and I'm sick of seeing it. Why does DU allow ANY ads created by Republicans, in the first place? This particular ad is "PAID FOR BY THE REPUBLICAN GOVERNORS ASSOCIATION."

Really, DU? Really?

1. I'll alert the admins
Please be aware we can't block ads until they appear here. In other words, there's nothing we can do when they show up on DU for the first time.

Also, even a $10 contribution to DU would allow you to turn the ads off entirely.

I recognize the stupidity that is GOP money being used to fuel DU! It's money down the tubes for them, and money in the bank for DU... that's how I see it. Perspective really is everything. Their ads here will only make headway with lurking Freeper Trolls who already have fecal excrement for brains.

3. Why is it disturbing?
Republicans are paying money to show ads to people who aren't going to be affected. Even the Republicans lurkers and trolls have already made up their mind on this topic. Let them waste it.

7.  Can D.U. sensor the ads? If they can I agree, D.U. should not show it.

8. Jerry Brown was and would again be a great Democratic
governor of California. Megabucks Meg must be stopped. She's the last thing California can afford at this point, she's Arnold with a buy it now button.
