Think good thoughts for Mom.
My mom is in intensive care at a local hospital after a bad fall. My brother and I looked at the CT scan, and it's not good. She's in her eighties, so the serious brain surgery she needs is not likely to lead to a good outcome. So we're just waiting. Some patients recover on their own; most don't. The neurosurgeon says we won't know for several days if she will become responsive or not.

I'm not a religious man, but my family could use some good thoughts, spirit, karma, or prayers for Mom. Whatever works for you, we could use.

the familiar voices, encouragement, sense of love, strength and presence is sometimes felt/heard and did make a difference for me. Talk to her and touch her as much as the circumstances allow.

It's very comforting to know that my family is not alone.

We're hanging in, but Mom is declining. She's not going to make it.
