Call Nancy Pelosi and tell her to put impeachment on the table!
Yesterday, George W. Bush turned his back on America and our troops after announcing he had vetoed the emergency funding bill.

How much more will we tolerate, America?

The man has lied to us, spied on us, raided our treasury, allowed our brave troops to fight a war based on lies and without proper equipment or a plan for success, outed a COVERT CIA agent who was specifically working on nuclear proliferation, then lied about that too.

He and his Vice President continue to tell us that Iraq = 9/11, even though we should all know by now that simply isn't true. It's a lie.

We had the worst terrorist attack in our country's history due to the inaction of this administration in the months prior to the attack. All warnings were ignored.

We had one of the worst natural disasters with Hurricane Katrina, and this administration allowed citizens to die and float in the streets of New Orleans, being eaten by rats. And they did...nothing. They promised they'd fix the problem, and it still isn't fixed. Money and aid donated by other countries was not accepted.

The man has turned his back on America. He is willing to allow others to die for his lie—for his war—that has made his wealthy friends even wealthier, and even though he knows the majority of the American people want the war to end, and our troops brought home, he ignores our wishes by turning his back on us and walking away.

It is time for us to turn our backs on this man. And we can all start by swamping Nancy Pelosi's office with calls for impeachment. It will be hard for her to continue to ignore us if she's getting thousands of calls every day from Americans demanding that the impeachment process is started.

CALL NOW: (202) 225-0100. Not one more dead soldier, not one more dollar for this war based on lies. IMPEACH!

10. Call WAR contractor and Republican contributor General Electric Corporation at 203 373 2211
You're asking the wrong people to get Bush to resign.

Call WAR contractor and Republican contributor General Electric Corporation at 203 373 2211 and ask for the public relations department. Tell the public relations person politely that you will not buy any GE products anymore < NO light bulbs, ovens, stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, TVs, radios, telephones, stereos, DVD recorders, VCRs > until the CEO of GE gets George W Bush to end the war and occupation of Iraq and that George W Bush and Dick Cheney resign.

2. Nancy ain't gonna do sh*t.
Just 2 days ago everybody on DU was calling her and everyone in Congress to Impeach. So what happens?! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! :grr:

We've been begging Congress for MONTHS and frankly I'm sick to death to death of their mealy mouthed bullshit and lies!

FYI:
Congress does NOT care if the war ends or not.
Congress does NOT care if a mentally unstable thief continues to run this country.
Congress does NOT give a damn about the people they were elected to represent.

:puke:

3. Well then I guess you can just sit back and do nothing.
But I'm going to bug the ever lovin' crap out of them.

They work for US. And they are going to have to do what we want them to do, or we'll find new people who will.

I'm not going to give up, not yet. There's too much at stake.

If our country's founding fathers had given up, we wouldn't have ever had the freedoms that are now being taken away from us.

5. Agreed, AndyA
You don't know what helpless feels like unless you live in the great crimson state of Utah. But I can write letters and call and send emails. They don't mean zilch to our two bonehead senators, not even to the one Democratic representative from southern Utah who acts more often like a moderate Republican, but I can write as a citizen of the US, a constituent of those like Nancy Pelosi who listens to us all.

In last week's New York Review of Books is an excellent piece on the work that she and Harry Reid have done to get a very disparate congress to actually vote together on things like this emergency funding bill with timelines. Both the Speaker and the Majority Leader have terrifically difficult jobs. It's not fair or even sensible to disparage them for what they can't do. But this doesn't mean we shouldn't continue to push them to work harder, go further. That we're behind them but that won't stop us from harassing them to do what the majority of the US citizenry wants them to do.

If they can't hold up the proof that the people want Bush impeached, they can't do anything. We've got to make sure our voices are heard. Sitting back and saying, What's the use she won't do sh*t" doesn't make much sense.

8. Actually, I do know what helpless feels like.
Oklahoma resident, here.

James Inhofe.

Tom Coburn.

John Sullivan.

It just doesn't get much worse than that. So I do understand how you feel. I know and live the frustration of taxation with no representation, and I've been treated badly by all of their offices.

John Sullivan is an arsonist who burned down his high school. He also lied on a real estate license application, and had his license revoked because of it. He's resisted arrest. Quite the upstanding citizen, eh?

Hang in there, I think our message is getting to them. We just have to keep repeating it and get louder and louder to make sure it isn't ignored.

9. Fresh blood.
I wonder who is most thrilled at this.

Bush? Or the insurgents/terrorists?

I hope someone high up is looking out for each and every one of these men and women. We know their government isn't looking out for them.
