Got challenged tonight on the road per Sarah's "hopey changey" instructions

No, didn't get forced over. We were stopped at a light. Still have the Obama sticker on the car.

Two lanes, over, some dirtbag (in a Mercedes, no less) leaned out the window and yelled the quote he was directed by Palin to say (verbatim), "How's that hopey-changey thing workin' out for ya?"

I smiled and gave him a thumbs up, responding pleasantly, "Great. Thanks for asking."

I think he expected to take me by surprise; he didn't know he was dealing with a DUer. So he replied with a snappy retort (thought up all by himself!), "Couple ignoramuses!"

I smiled and said, "No, you must be thinking of Sarah."

He mumbled under his breath, shook his head, turned red and pulled away.

He didn't throw me off at all because we all know this could be coming, but it is a bit disturbing to think that her minions will do precisely as they are told. As he did tonight. I have no doubt that she knew exactly what she was saying when she told her Tea Party crowd to "pull (cars) over" that have Obama stickers on them. That didn't happen here. This time.

Anyway, I hope he blew a gasket on his way home. Personally, and on his Mercedes.

By combining bumber sticker she implies, but saying stop instead of pull over she protects herself. I think it is proof that it as well orchestrated as anything Rove was responsible for while working for Bush. He may still be running the show, but with Beck and Palin at the bidding of the barons.

We should try to find out who is paying her for these events. Armey? If yes, then who is paying Armey. Instead of marveling at her highly effective activities, we should track the money.

They have so many 'foundations' and 'organizations' as well as individuals (Kroc, Mellon-Scaife).

I live here and although I don't use bumper stickers, people here know I voted for Obama. I was asked, word for word, Palin's quote. I asked the guy if he could think for himself or if he relied on an idiot quitter, insane hate radio and FUX NotNews to do his thinking for him.

I'm going to use that 'dopey-quitter' line, if no one objects.

Woman in front of me in line had a "So how is the change working out for you?", it's the first time I saw a shirt like that so I smirked. She turned around and asked me "so you like the shirt?" I told her yes, so naturally she started in with the Socialism, health care, Hillary, blah blah blah. I quipped back "well actually it's working GREAT for me, my bank re-mortgaged my house since my wife lost her job, a good friend of mine who has Cancer and dropped from her insurance has hope of getting covered once again, we're FINALLY getting some tax breaks" She interrupted "Well it's not working for me" I answered back "Hey lady, don't yell at me, you're the one wearing the shirt!" and she stormed out of the line. I got my ice cream that much sooner, it was a good day.
