NET NEUTRALITY EMERGENCY!

Subject: Net Neutrality

Net neutrality protects free speech online. Net neutrality is the principle that Internet users, not Internet service providers, should be in control. It ensures that Internet service providers can't speed up, slow down, or block Web content based on its source, ownership, or destination. It is imperative that government agencies like the FCC and FTC act decisively and consistently in their assigned primary mandate to PROTECT THE CITIZENS' right to unfettered access to information over partisan political interests and corporate conglomerates who are lobbying now to control and/or censor users based on political or fiscal reasons. The recent China/Google breakdown is an alarming indicator of what results when control of public resources is in the hands of a privileged few. There is no ambiguity on this: it is the duty of regulators to safeguard net neutrality.
