Guy Who Threatened Patty Murray Is A Local
Edited on Tue Apr-06-10 07:15 PM by KingOfLostSouls
all I gotta say is it doesn't surprise me. not the least. Central WA, specifically the Yakima area, is ultra conservative. it's like someone transported the deep south into the beautiful pacific northwest. the irony being it's also one of the poorest and least educated areas of the northwest also. No surprise there, though, as we all know, "red" areas tend to be worse off than "blue" areas.

the teabagger movement here, though, doesn't hide their roots. they proudly proclaim their allegiance to the john birch society, their sympathy for timothy mcveigh and scott roeder. they try to pass themselves off now as "independents" while they recycle the same talking points from glenn beck and sean hannity.

personally, I'm glad the feds busted that crazy motherfucker. the local teabaggers have another rally scheduled for this weekend. as you can imagine, they're exactly what you'd expect: older, white, angry. they want their country back, where it's safe for "the white man" to beat up and kill minorities and stuff. trust me, I've seen the stares and the looks these people give you when they see a colored man with a white woman. and let me tell you, anyone who tells you that the teabaggers aren't a racist movement, one based on hate, is a goddamn liar. these people hate you and trust me, they would rather stab you to death than talk to you or hear "your side." They don't need an excuse to hate anyone they suspect is "liberal." they do it for shits and giggles. they don't need an excuse to hate, they'll make one up if they need to. they drop the n-word and other racial slurs without a second thought. I've seen it and heard it and sometimes been on the receiving end of it.

the next time anyone tries to tell you all the teabaggers aren't like that, that it's really a peaceful movement, it's not racist or sexist or based on hate and murder and threats, you only have really one word to say to them in response

BULLSHIT!

"I do believe that every one of you motherfucking socialist democratic progressive motherfuckers need to be taken out. Put in front of a fucking firing squad and shot between the fucking eyes." Charles Wilson, conservative terrorist

1. Irony?
No, that's the explanation. With education comes the knowledge to figure out how screwed over you are, and by whom.
