Benedict's infamous 2001 directive ordered that abuse allegations be kept secret

It's not about the media or the so-called "Pope hate." It's a tremendous disappointment that the church has moved backwards into denials and re-directing criticism rather than accepting responsibility. The victims are left to suffer while the Vatican strives to protect itself. The entire world knows the Vatican is on the wrong path, a very destructive path!

well about Ratzinger's role in the cover up and secrecy of pedophilia
in the church.

They knew it and they made him the Pope.

How utterly sick is that?

Can you imagine the multiple acts of child sex crimes those cardinals must
have committed themselves?

Only pedophiles cover up child sex abuse and put known pedophiles in positions
of power with access to children. Only pedophiles would elect a powerful leader
who is widely known for covering up pedophilia and protecting child rapists.

They're all pedophiles covering for each other. There really is no other explanation.

Non pedophiles are repulsed by this behavior. They run for the police stations and
they're physically sickened by pedophilia. Only a pedophile could so easily cover
up these crimes and even attack the victims.

The entire Church hierarchy must be a nest of pedophiles covering for each other.
