Did I hear Joey Scab right today? Was that antiwar stuff dredged up from Vietnam War protests
of my youthful days?

I remember how we carried signs that said "Out now!" and "Bring the troops home!" The right wing got hysterical and painted the entire antiwar movement as "communist" and "traitors." You never saw such a group of self righteous bastards...

Now lo and behold! Joe Scab and Pat Buchanan are antiwar hippies! Chris Hayes of The Nation was laughing at them. Even Mika squeaked a little bit about how they weren't so antiwar when Obama increased the troop level. Joe "said" that he spoke out...heh, I'd like to see the videotape on THAT one!

1. I sent Joe an email
this morning and asked him which one of the Joes we were watching today. He is self absorbing and full of rightwing bull s--t.He changes his positions more than three hookers in a bed with one man.Joe has a lot to say about Pres Kharzi of Afghanistan right now. But you know that the rightwingers are the warmongering defense budget building give me my country back prehistoric pieces of s--t there is.The only reason they are saying this is because they see that this goes against what "this President" set out to do. Which was to ultimately find a way to bring the troops home without rightwing opposition. Sounds like that is possible now.:applause: :applause: :applause: Our President thinks on different levels than some. And I for one am glad bout it.:hi: :hi: :hi:

10. there are those who take a stand against war and do so clearly and distinctly
and then there are those scum who trivilize the fundamental nature of war to score political points one way or another when the winds of political discourse strike them.

Joe Skank and his crew are part of the scum.

3. Don't you remember Pat Buchanan with long hair and an headband, wearing
love beads and sandals, always a little stoned and silly? That's the Patty I recall fondly....

Who are they fucking kidding - and McCain never was a maverick, either.

The obvious contempt they all hold for their audience is really offensive.

4. What is remarkable to me is that they're adopting the SAME language
that we used. It's freaky. Either they are deliberately using the antiwar rhetoric of the left in the late 60s and early 70s or they are using it without self awareness. I can't figure Pat out...is he just too old to remember or just an wheezing hypocrite?

6. Interesting how they hardly discussed the McCain
'I'm not a maverick' remark. They are very selective on that show about the stories they discuss.

5. Typical Chickenhawk Republicon propaganda pimp
Republicons chickenhawks are infamous for their whining and posturing about war -- even though, having never served America for even five minutes, they know doodly squat about it.

No American trusts the bleatings of the vast phalanx of Republicon Chickenhawks -- especially when they are overpaid, bent-knee corporate propagnda pimps like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck or Scarborough (all bona fide chickenhawks).
