3. He was on AFghanistan this am. I didn't hear a rant on hcr today but I turned him
off because I was bored stiff. You're right, tho, about the past several days. He was just unbearable, kept saying the same things over and over. That got old fast.

But I did hear him make his snarky if tired statement about how well the health insurance companies are doing on the stock market. How long will he keep beating that dead horse? Does the man even listen to himself?

7. You CAN do what I do which is check whose on deck for the next day
at the Morning Joe website before you turn him on. If Lawrence O'Donnell, Howard Dean, Elizabeth Warren or another interesting Democrat is scheduled I tune in, find out when their segment is and then go do something else or just check the local station for weather and news. That way, I can skip Joe's long rants and still enjoy the people I WANT to see.

It's good for keeping up with both sides' "talking points."

11. Some days there are good exchanges with progressives and that's what I look for.
I also try to get just a flavor of the RW talking points so I know what's coming down politically...and what the left has to say about it.

People here also repeat stuff by Limbaugh but I don't bother with him...he's just a big ranter and disgusting...

9. It's Still A "Winner" In GOOPland...
With all the disinformation, there's been plenty of fodder to keep attacking the HIR bill. It's also one of the few bonds the rushpublicans have to hold their fracturing party together. The game now is to continue to pillage the bill and the process in hoping that the GOOP can continue to ride this dog and pony show toward the elections and also use it to fundraise. Last week a report came out showing Democrats had outraised the rushpublicans and there's a definite push in their hive (also in the wake of Steele's latest fuck up) to whip up the hate and bullshit to get cash.
