Ex-Client of Alleged Madam Tries to Stop ABC From Airing His Name

Mods, Please delete if this WaPo article has already been posted this morning. Thanks!

The client is a well-to-do private citizen, according to a source familiar with the investigation who is prohibited from discussing it publicly.

--snip--

Sibley said yesterday he estimates that ABC News has identified 1,000 customers and could publicly identity five to 10 people based on how their public roles or positions conflict with the hiring of escorts.

--snip--

"I don't think anybody can tell you what we're going to do," Schneider said. He declined to comment on how ABC will determine whom to name, but he said it typically would consider the public interest and possible hypocrisy by public officials. LINK

1. "...possible hypocrisy by public officials."
If they go by that standard, it would be republicans.

2. IOW they're scouring the list in search of
Democratic names so they can portray the whole thing as a bipartisan scandal. As in 9,993 Repugs & 7 Dems. But first they gotta find the 7 Dems, who will then be portrayed as equal in # to the 9993 Repugs. (Come to think of it, that kind of math makes sense in a strange sort of way, as in 1 of us is equal to 1400+ of them).

5. That's that old "Bear & Squirrel Stew" recipe.

Combine "equal parts":
1 Bear (Repukes)
1 Squirrel (Dems)

I'm sure there'll be at least one Dem outed.

7. The client would be "well-to-do" if he rises to Madame's defense
Bring on the courtly chivalry!

"I did not have sexual relations with that Masseuse." rinse, repeat.

11. Well I honestly don't care HOW people get their groove on

This list is sheer embarrassment entertaiment. Bring on anyone stupid enough to pay someone for sex inside the beltway of ANY political stripe.
I think most liberals will agree with me that it is good for a chuckle on our side, considering most of us don't give a shit who sleeps with whom, but on the fire and brimstone side? There will be smiting.
I do wish the madame had given the list to two different outlets though--then it would be a rush who could break the news first. This way ABC can sit back and cherry-pick who they want to destroy and who they want to save.
I wish Leahy would subpoena THAT list...just in case ABC has every intention of doing such a thing.
